Deputy General Manager - Amirul Syafiq

Amirul Syafiq graduated from the Akademi Laut Malaysia (“ALAM”) in the year 2002 with a Diploma in Marine Engineering. He holds the Professional Marine Engineers Certificate Class 1 from Marine Department of Malaysia. He is also a holder of OYAGSB Chartered Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Utara Malaysia.

He began his career in the year 2000 with Malaysian International Shipping Corporation Berhad (“MISC Berhad”) as a Shipboard Marine Engineer. In 2007, he joined Tanjung Offshore as Marine 2nd Engineer and was in charge of vessels maintenance and repairs. He was promoted to Chief Engineer and subsequently to Technical Superintendent overseeing new ship building for the company.

In 2010, Amirul joined Bourbon Offshore Mitra as a Shore Base Manager cum Contracts Manager in Labuan. He was in charge of base operations in Labuan, Miri and Brunei. He is also the main liaison for client vessels in East Malaysia region. Subsequently, he was appointed Technical Superintendent for Bourbon Offshore Mitra from 2012 and after the acquisition of Bourbon Offshore Mitra (renamed to Bahtera Sri Kandi Marine) by Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings he was promoted to Technical Manager.

Amirul is currently the Deputy General Manager who assist the Managing Director in day to day operations of Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings.

Amirul is also a Council member for Ikhtisas Kelautan Malaysia ("IKMAL") or The Association of Malaysia’s Maritime Professionals, a non-governmental organisation for Malaysia’s seagoing and shore-based officers holding certificates of competency (CoC) of any grade, pilot licences issued by authorised Malaysian agencies or appropriate maritime-affiliated degrees. IKMAL is acknowledged as an organisation that could be consulted on matters relating to the betterment of seagoing and shore-based officers as well as any other issues related to the human aspect of the maritime industry.

Senior Operations Manager
Senior Operations Manager - Ramnagendran Ramiah

Ramnagendran graduated in 2000 from Singapore Maritime Academy with a Diploma in Marine Engineering. He also holds a 1st Class (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency from MPA Singapore.

He began his career for Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) as an Engine Cadet. After 10 years with NOL, he joined Bourbon Offshore Asia as a 2nd Engineer serving on board Bourbon Intan (renamed to Bahtera Intan in 2013).

In October 2010, Ramnagendran joined Bourbon Offshore Mitra. He was assigned the position of Base Manager in Songkhla, Thailand, managing vessel operations at Songkhla Shore Base. He also took up the role of Contracts Manager for Thailand in 2011. In this position, he managed clients from major oil companies, overseeing the commercial and operational aspects of the contracts. In 2012, he returned to his home country to manage Malaysian contracts. In 2015, he was appointed as Operations Manager of Bourbon Offshore Mitra, and after the acquisition of Bourbon Offshore Mitra (renamed to Bahtera Sri Kandi Marine) by Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings he was promoted to Senior Operations Manager.

Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager – Redzuan Roslan

Redzuan Roslan is an experienced personnel in the field of Marine Operations. Since joining PETRONAS in 2009, he has been responsible in the full spectrum of contract statutory requirements & management including strategic sourcing & delivery, risk management, maintenance & recovery of vessels and implementation of cost-optimization and cost-reduction of projects. He has acquired experience and knowledge in the processes of handling various project requirements throughout his involvement in Sourcing & Logistics division. He became the advisor to ensure smooth inspection and delivery of operations as well as being the reference for opportunities of new developmental approaches under strict project requirements.

Redzuan Roslan also established and led the Umbrella Contract for Marine Vessel Spot Charter worth RM2Billion under the Malaysian Petroleum Management (MPM) for the reduction of vessel sourcing time to up to 83%. His achievements also include a record of RM100million cost-savings through complex negotiations as well as leading a team to launch a total of 24 awarded vessels with full inspections to support 5 years of drilling operations under PETRONAS CARIGALI in one go. He was appointed as the primary person to manage and co-ordinate cost-effective execution under Freight Management System, an integration to implement business improvement initiatives for the Supply Chain Management division.

Redzuan Roslan is currently the Business Development Manager at Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings. He is responsible in leading the Marketing/Commercial department.
