Chairman – YB Senator Admiral Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohd Anwar Bin Hj Mohd Nor (Retired)

Senator Admiral Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohd Anwar bin Hj Mohd Nor (Retd) was born in Malacca. After receiving his early education at the Naval Base Secondary School, Singapore, he attended the Officer Cadet School at the Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth, England, from 1 September 1968.

He served the Royal Malaysian Navy for 38½ years, commanded 6 Ships and also several Shore Bases. He rose to the rank of Admiral and took office as Chief of Navy on August 2003 and later became the first Naval Officer to assume the post of the Chief of Defence Force in April 2005.

Throughout his service with the RMN, Admiral Tan Sri Mohd Anwar has attended various sub-specialization courses including Navigation and Direction and Principal Warfare Officer in HMS DRYAD, England. He graduated from the Naval Staff College Rhode Island, USA class 18 in 1981 and Joint Services Staff College in Canberra, Australia in 1988. He also attended the Defence Resource Management Course in Monterrey, Naval Post Graduate School, USA in 1995. He hold a masters degree in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick, United Kingdom. As a recognition of his Leadership and Management contributions he was conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Doctor of Management by the Universiti Terengganu Malaysia.

Admiral Tan Sri Mohd Anwar is an avid sportsman representing the Navy, the Armed Forces and Malaysia in hockey. His notable achievement was when he represented Malaysia during the Asian Games, Tehran in 1974. He continued contributing to hockey in various positions including as President of Malaysian Hockey Federation. He is also an avid golfer and has represented Malaysian Armed Forces in the ASEAN Armed Forces Golf Tournament and continues to lead the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) as President.

In 2013, Admiral Tan Sri Mohd Anwar was elected as the President of the Veteran Malaysian Armed Forces Association (NGO) and continues to be President of Retired Malaysian Navy Officers’ Association (RMNOA). On 3rd September 2015, he was elected as the Deputy President of the World Veterans Federation (WVF).

Following his retirement from the Armed Forces in 2007, he was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (Armed Forces Fund Board), Chairman of National Defence University Board (UPNM), Chairman of Titijaya Land Berhad, a public listed company and as a Director of a few private limited companies. He is currently the Chairman for Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings and its group of companies. He is also the shareholder for Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings.

His interests includes reading leadership and management books and golf.

Admiral Tan Sri Mohd Anwar is married to Puan Sri Datin Sri Siti Hapsah and blessed with four children; a son and 3 daughters.

Managing Director
Managing Director – Raziah Bibi Binti Aurange Zeb

Madam Raziah began her career as an auditor in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She then joined an Offshore Catering Company as a Director in 2003. In 2007 she opened Bahtera Sri Kandi Sdn. Bhd (a 100% Bumiputera Company), which subsequently was appointed as an exclusive agent for Bourbon Offshore, supplying Offshore Support Vessels to major oil companies in the region. Throughout the years, she has transformed Bahtera Sri Kandi from an agent to a vessel owning and operating company.

Madam Raziah is also the shareholder of Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings, which is the parent company of Bahtera Sri Kandi Sdn. Bhd., Bahtera Sri Kandi Marine Sdn. Bhd., Bahtera Sri Kandi Asset Ltd., Bahtera Sri Kandi Offshore Ltd., and Bumi Subsea Solutions. Since 2015, she has developed a diversified business portfolio targeting growth and value creation for all stakeholders. 

Finance Director
Finance Director – Muhammad Razin Shah

Muhammad Razin Shah started his career in Sime Darby Motors Division as a Finance Executive. Throughout the years, he was rotated to various companies in the Motors Division as part of its career development program to expose new executive to the business. After gaining two years of experience in companies such as Auto Bavaria, Sime Darby Auto Connexion and also as an internal auditor for Sime Darby Group Corporate Assurance, he was tasked to assist in the setting up of Sime Darby Auto Performance (a Porsche distributorship in Malaysia) Finance Department and later was promoted to Senior Executive – Finance.

He later joined Securities Commission Malaysia as an Investigating Officer for the Enforcement Division.

Muhammad Razin Shah is currently the Finance Director for Bahtera Sri Kandi Marine Sdn. Bhd, Bahtera Sri Kandi Offshore Ltd. and Bahtera Sri Kandi Asset Ltd. The companies are involved in the oil & gas industry and specializing in marine offshore vessels.

Muhammad Razin Shah is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants United Kingdom (ACCA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Currently he sits as one of the committee member in ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee.

Senior Operations Manager
Senior Operations Manager - Ramnagendran Ramiah

Ramnagendran graduated in 2000 from Singapore Maritime Academy with a Diploma in Marine Engineering. He also holds a 1st Class (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency from MPA Singapore.

He began his career for Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) as an Engine Cadet. After 10 years with NOL, he joined Bourbon Offshore Asia as a 2nd Engineer serving on board Bourbon Intan (renamed to Bahtera Intan in 2013).

In October 2010, Ramnagendran joined Bourbon Offshore Mitra. He was assigned the position of Base Manager in Songkhla, Thailand, managing vessel operations at Songkhla Shore Base. He also took up the role of Contracts Manager for Thailand in 2011. In this position, he managed clients from major oil companies, overseeing the commercial and operational aspects of the contracts. In 2012, he returned to his home country to manage Malaysian contracts. In 2015, he was appointed as Operations Manager of Bourbon Offshore Mitra, and after the acquisition of Bourbon Offshore Mitra (renamed to Bahtera Sri Kandi Marine) by Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings he was promoted to Senior Operations Manager.

Technical Manager
Technical Manager - Amirul Syafiq

Amirul Syafiq graduated from the Akademi Laut Malaysia (“ALAM”) in the year 2002 with a Diploma in Marine Engineering. He also holds the Professional Marine Engineers Certificate Class 1 from Marine Department of Malaysia.

He began his career in the year 2000 with Malaysian International Shipping Corporation Berhad (“MISC Berhad”) as a Shipboard Marine Engineer. In 2007, he joined Tanjung Offshore as Marine 2nd Engineer and was in charge of vessels maintenance and repairs. He was promoted to Chief Engineer and subsequently to Technical Superintendent overseeing new ship building for the company.

In 2010, Amirul joined Bourbon Offshore Mitra as a Shore Base Manager cum Contracts Manager in Labuan. He was in charge of base operations in Labuan, Miri and Brunei. He is also the main liaison for client vessels in East Malaysia region. Subsequently, he was appointed Technical Superintendent for Bourbon Offshore Mitra from 2012 and after the acquisition of Bourbon Offshore Mitra (renamed to Bahtera Sri Kandi Marine) by Bahtera Sri Kandi Holdings he was promoted to Technical Manager.
